During my year as rotary district governor for 5030, we were recognized by Rotary International for our district wide program Rotary First Harvest. This is one of several organizations I fully support. The 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation and Rotary District 5030 program; RFH works with farmers, truckers, volunteers and other skills and resources into hunger relief in communities across Washington state.
Our local rotary clubs and the community volunteer monthly for a few hours of packing produce at the warehouse. It is a great opportunity for fellowship and meeting other members.
